We are aware that Tenet has an agreement with Comodo for SSL certificates.
From what I understand and from initial emails UCT will appoint a RA/person who will then get rights in Comodo to submit CSRs to sign certificates.
We are able to obtain an unlimited no. of certificates and they can
I've read a few articles on the site which included some info but wasn't clear as to what we could change or not change.
We need to know more about the process for this.
Who/how do we get someone registered to do this? Does this need to be a specific person or can it be a UCT Generic account that 3 people in our team use (we have 3 people who are able to interact with our current CA supplier), or do we register more than 1 person (if possible)?
What Distinguished Name Fields are we able to use?
In our case we used to use these fields for our Thawte SSL certificates C=ZA/ST=Western Cape/L=Rondebosch/O=University of Cape Town/OU=ICTS - Technical Support Services/CN=whateversite.uct.ac.za
Will only the registered RA/s then be able to obtain certificates under our parent domain (uct.ac.za)?
Can you provide more detail on the process moving forward so we can take advantage of this.
