As part of the Sci-GaIA project, we have to deliver a fully-compliant open access data and document repository - both as an example of good practice as well as something that can be forked to provide a functional service to institutes and research groups in the region.
@RRicceri has put together an Invenio-based open access repository - http://oar.sci-gaia.eu/?ln=en
It complies with ALL THE THINGS:
This site is an OAI conforming repository and an official OpenDOAR data provider.
It is also compliant with version 3.0 of the [OpenAIRE Guidelines](
We need to discuss how this can benefit communities.
We would like people to be able to "fork" this instance for their own use.
In the meantime, @OmoOaiya, @TiwongeBanda_992c - as NREN representatives, you can take a look and consider hosting a "catch-all" for your communities. The important thing here is the adherence to standards so, if there are other repository frameworks which people want to use, we could consider delivering them as well as this one based on invenio.
