Continuing the discussion from Agenda and training infrastructure of the WACREN hackfest - let's start the discussion:
@OwenIyoha_52c6 @OmoOaiya - we need to discuss the resources that will be available for the hackfest. The model is usually that the participants hack code on their laptops, but then push an integration service. We need to know what kind of resources will be available for this. During the DevOps bootcamp in Kampala @ChrisRohrer provided a small cloud of machines with nice personal names (name.eduroam.me, e.g. ) - it would be nice if we could reproduce something like that. Of course, we can do this under the eko-konnect domain.
I would suggest at the bare minimum that we a medium VM per person on average. So, let's say 15x(2GB+120GB+2CPU) cloud. Can you get this from a provider in the time scale we have ?
We will discuss the deployment of the testing services in a separate thread.
