ICRISAT is advertising a facilitator/knowledge broker position in the ADA funded project implemented by ICRISAT in partnership with BOKU and IIAM, on Nudging Sustainability Transitions Using Innovation Platforms and Market-Oriented Development in Mozambique. The project will develop an Innovation Platform approach, with specific emphasis on facilitating transitions towards inclusive market-oriented development of smallholder mixed crop livestock systems in Tete province. It builds on the lessons in phase 1: Crop and livestock technologies and markets are available; market opportunities are great, but there are also enormous challenges that prevent communities from improving productivity and benefiting from the markets. Through this project ICRISAT aims at strengthening the existing IP, facilitating multi-level learning with stakeholders from local to provincial scale and better understanding the underlying structures that could enable change more effectively.
The position will be based in Tete, and available August 2015 - July 2018. Applications should be sent by 30 July to the ICRISAT Zimbabwe country administrator to ICRISATZW@CGIAR.ORG.
