New Sensor developments
We have a good sensor selection and PCB designed and hopefully some results from pagoda comparison.
Anyway sensor development continues. I'm following this work a bit and I'll post some information for our knowledge, so when we discuss we can at least say we've seen this info.
One new interesting sensor is the Bosch BME280 which combines temp, humidity and pressure in one sensor. If are to believe the test referenced below it performs very well and is within the specs with very good margins. The cost is about half the SHT25. The test seems to be well done. I'll leave to RC1 and Joachim to give input if you have a chance. Also recall with earlier Bosch pressure sensors BMP085 and BMP180 we had high noise. This seems now cured with the BME280. See video test below.
Also worth to note is that SHT21, SHT25 has direct replacements that should be drop-in. Look at HTU21 and Silicon Labs SI7021.
